Governor’s Council on Developmental Disabilities Member Retreat 2023

The Governor’s Council on Developmental Disabilities Arkansas will hold it’s annual member retreat on Sunday, September 17th and Monday, September 18th, 2023, at the Winthrop Rockefeller Institute on Petit Jean Mountain. Day one of the retreat, 09/17/23, will start off with a meeting of the GCDD Executive Committee at 1pm in room Petit Jean 1 (a public meeting). World Down Syndrome Day

03/21 is World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD) The date for WDSD being the 21st day of the 3rd month, was selected to signify the uniqueness of the triplication (trisomy) of the 21st chromosome which causes Down syndrome.
