NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD ON AMENDMENT 1 TO CDBG-DR 2020
ACTION PLAN – DR-4441 OF ARKANSAS
The State of Arkansas received $8,940,000 in grant funds from the U.S. Department of
Housing and Urban Development (“HUD”) for the Presidentially Declared Disaster in
Arkansas known as DR-4441, which consisted of severe flooding along the Arkansas
River basin in 2019. These funds shall be applied to the CDBG-DR 2021 Action Plan to
be administered by the Arkansas Development Finance Authority (“ADFA”).
The State has completed a draft of the Action Plan Amendment 1, which is a Substantial
Amendment to the CDBG-DR 2020 Action Plan (“Amendment”), for the Presidentially
Declared Disaster DR-4441, and hereby presents the draft for public review and
comment. The comment period will extend for 30 days beginning on Monday, July 21,
2025, and will end at 4:30pm on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. Public comments will be
considered in the final draft of the Amendment, which will be submitted to HUD.
