The Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) will host a Location and Design Public Hearing from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, August 13 to present and discuss the proposed design plans and Environmental Assessment for the widening of Highway 65 from Dennard to Highway 110 in Van Buren County.
The hearing will be held at Botkinburg Foursquare Church, 7054 Highway 65, Clinton, AR 72031. This is an “open house” meeting, allowing the public to drop in at any time during the scheduled hours.
The purpose of this project is to improve accessibility and regional connectivity in north central Arkansas and build upon previously completed projects to widen Highway 65. A public meeting was held for this project in January 2025.
The public may view meeting materials and provide written comments at the following locations:

Comments will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. Friday, August 28.
