The Highway 140 bridge over Ditch number 6, between County Road 259 and County Road 275 near Keiser, is scheduled to close around the clock from 6 a.m. Monday, May 4, through 5 p.m. Sunday, October 11.
Weather permitting, the closure will allow crews to replace the existing bridge. Highway 140 will remain open to local traffic only on either side of the closure.
A signed detour will be in place. To reach the east side of the closure, traffic will take Highway 140 west to Highway 77, Highway 77 north to Highway 158, Highway 158 east to Highway 181, then Highway 181 south to back to Highway 140. To reach the west side of the closure, traffic will take Highway 140 east to Highway 181, Highway 181 north to Highway 158, Highway 158 west to Highway 77, then Highway 77 south to back to Highway 140.

Construction barrels, barricades, and signage will be in place to notify motorists of the closure.
