Highway 203 over Champagnolle Creek near Hampton is scheduled to close around the clock from 8 a.m. Monday, June 15, through 5 p.m. Tuesday, June 16.
Weather permitting, the closure will allow crews to replace the existing bridge deck. Highway 203 will remain open to local traffic only on either side of the closure.
A signed detour will be in place. To reach the north side of the closure, traffic will take Highway 203 south to Highway 278, Highway 278 west to Highway 274, then Highway 274 east back to Highway 203. To reach the south side of the closure, traffic will take Highway 203 north to Highway 274, Highway 274 west to Highway 278, then Highway 278 east back to Highway 203.
Digital message boards, construction barrels, barricades, and signage will be in place to notify motorists of the closure.
