Highway 304 between Morris Road and County Road 102 near Delaplaine is scheduled to close from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, August 19.
Weather permitting, the closure will allow crews to repair a cross drain. The road will remain open to local traffic only on either side of the closure.
To reach the east side of the closure, traffic will take Highway 304 west to Highway 231, Highway 231 south to Highway 90, Highway 90 east to Highway 34, then Highway 34 east back to Highway 304. To reach the west side of the closure, traffic will take Highway 304 east to Highway 34, Highway 34 west to Highway 90, Highway 90 west to Highway 231, then Highway 231 north back to Highway 304.
Digital message boards, construction barrels, barricades, and signage will be in place to notify motorists of the closures.
