RANDOLPH COUNTY | June 3, 2026

Highway 361 between the Spring River and Davidsonville Historic State Park south of Pocahontas is scheduled to close from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursday, June 4.

Weather permitting, the closure will allow crews to replace a pipe on the existing roadway. Highway 361 will remain open to local traffic only on either side of the closure.

To reach the west side of the closure, traffic will take Highway 361 north to Highway 166, Highway 166 east to Highway 62, Highway 62 west to Highway 412, then Highway 412 east back to Highway 361. To reach the east side of the closure, traffic will take Highway 361 south to Highway 412, Highway 412 west to Highway 62, Highway 62 east to Highway 166, then Highway 166 south back to Highway 361.

Construction barrels, barricades, and signage will be in place to notify motorists of the closure.
