The Highway 37 bridge over Guthrie Lake near Tuckerman is scheduled to close around the clock from 5 a.m. Monday, April 27, through 5 p.m. Monday, May 25.
Weather permitting, the closure will allow crews to make repairs to the existing bridge. Highway 37 will remain open to local traffic only on either side of the closure.
A signed detour will be in place. To reach the west side of the closure, traffic will take Highway 37 east to Highway 18, Highway 18 west to Highway 367, then Highway 367 north to back to Highway 37. To reach the east side of the closure, traffic will take Highway 37 west to Highway 367, Highway 367 south to Highway 18, then Highway 18 east back to Highway 37.
Construction barrels, barricades, and signage will be in place to notify motorists of the closure.
