CLEVELAND COUNTY | July 24, 2026

Highway 97 just south of Highway 189 (N. 1st Street) in Kingsland is scheduled to close from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, July 27, for railroad crossing repairs.

Weather permitting, Highway 97 will be closed to through traffic to allow the Union Pacific Railroad to make repairs to a railroad crossing.

A signed detour will be in place using local roads.

Construction barrels, barricades, and signage will be in place to notify motorists of the closures and detour routes.
