POINSETT COUNTY (10-27) βThe removal and installation of corrugated metal pipes for a ditch crossing Highway 214 approximately 2.2 miles east of Fisher will result in temporary closure of the highway, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.
Weather permitting, crews will close Highway 214 immediately east of Fisher starting Wednesday, November 3, at 8 a.m. to replace deteriorating corrugated metal pipes at the location. The closure is expected to last one day. Drivers should use alternate routes for travel to their destination on the day of the cross-drain installation.
Traffic barrels, message boards, and signage will control traffic. Additional travel information can be found at IDriveArkansas.com or ARDOT.gov. You can also follow us on Twitter @IDriveArkansas for traffic and @myARDOT for everything else.
