SALINE COUNTY | Mar. 11, 2022

Weather permitting; crews will close the westbound Interstate 30 Congo Exit Ramp (Exit 118) from 8 p.m. Sunday night (Mar. 13) to 5 a.m. Monday morning (Mar.14) and 8 p.m. Monday night to 5 a.m. Tuesday morning (Mar. 15). This closure will allow crews to repair the pavement in the I-30 westbound outside lane near the exit ramp.

Drivers can access Congo Road from the Alcoa Exit (Exit 121) and the I-30 frontage road. Message boards will alert drivers before the closure to use the Alcoa Exit. ARDOT reminds drivers to slow down and minimize distractions when moving through a work zone. Using a phone in a work zone is unlawful and can result in citations and doubled fines.
