Interstate 30 eastbound traffic in Little Rock will move onto the Arkansas River bridge
beginning September 9.

Weather permitting, crews will shift I-30 eastbound traffic onto the river bridge on Friday, September 9. This traffic switch is the second of three phases in September to move I-30 traffic onto the new river bridge. The following traffic pattern changes are included in this second phase. See map NR 22-199-B for additional details.

  • All I-30 eastbound lanes are placed on the new river bridge with on-ramp traffic from the northbound frontage road.
  • I-30 westbound remains in its existing alignment.

The third phase will take place later in September:

  • Phase Three will move all I-30 westbound traffic onto the new river bridge. This is scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 17.

A long-term and permanent travel impact interactive map is available at 30crossing.com, along with additional project information.
