BENTON COUNTY | July 21, 2026

Southeast Walton Boulevard and West Walnut Street under the Interstate 49 (I-49) bridge in Rogers will have temporary eastbound and westbound overnight lane closures from 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 22 to 6 a.m. Thursday, July 23.

Weather permitting, the closures will allow contractors to conduct electrical work on lighting and traffic signals. Both eastbound and westbound outside lanes will remain open.

The left turn lanes on the northbound and southbound I-49 off-ramps at Exit 85 will also be closed. There will not be a signed detour in place. Traffic may instead take Exit 83, Exit 86, or make a right-hand turn at Exit 85 northbound or southbound.

Digital message boards, construction barrels, barricades, and signage will be in place to notify motorists of the closures.
