CRITTENDEN COUNTY (3-24) – Maintenance crews performing pavement repairs mean lane closures in West Memphis, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting, maintenance crews will perform the following closures at the
Interstate 40/Interstate 55 Interchange between I-40 Mile Markers 277 – 280, also designated as Interstate 55 Mile Markers 4 – 7:

  • Westbound | April 12 – April 23 | 24hr closure

These sections of interstate combine in West Memphis between Highway 77 and Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd (Highway 38).  Repairs will require traffic to merge into a single inside lane throughout the closures
