Home » Routine Inspection of Broadway Bridge to Cause Temporary Lane Closures

PULASKI COUNTY | Mar. 4, 2022

A routine inspection of the Broadway Bridge across the Arkansas River (Highway 70) in Little Rock/North Little Rock will cause temporary lane closures next week, weather permitting.

ARDOT inspection crews will close the southbound outside lane Tuesday and Wednesday, March 8-9 from 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

The crews will move to the northbound sidewalk Wednesday and Thursday, March 9-10 from 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Signage will indicate that the sidewalk is closed but travel lanes will not be affected on Thursday, March 10.

These closures will allow crews to use a man lift to inspect the arches.

ARDOT reminds drivers to slow down and minimize distractions when moving through a work zone. Using a phone in a work zone is unlawful and can result in citations and doubled fines.
