Three Carroll County men have been arrested by Arkansas State Police Special Agents and charged with murder based on an exhaustive three-year investigation conducted by the department’s Criminal Investigation Division.
Christopher Alvard, 37, and his dog were stabbed to death February 8, 2018 in Alvard’s home west of Eureka Springs.
Two of the suspects were taken into custody today by state police CID special agents. A third suspect, already incarcerated, was served an arrest warrant, by the agents.
Charged with Murder (1stdegree) and Cruelty to Animals are:
• Joshua Lloyd Anderson, 41, of Berryville
• Charles Ky Hanna, 32, of Berryville
• Jason Hartley Helm, 35, of Holiday Island
Anderson and Hanna were booked into the Carroll County Detention Center where Helm is already being held.
