Highway 344, approximately one mile northwest of the Highway 371/344 junction west of Magnolia, will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, July 30.
Weather permitting, the closure will allow crews to replace a pipe underneath Highway 344. Highway 344 will be open to local traffic only on either side of the closure.
To reach the west side of the closure, traffic will take Highway 344 east to Highway 371, Highway 371 north to Highway 82 in Magnolia, then Highway 82 west back to Highway 344. To reach the east side of the closure, traffic will take Highway 344 west to Highway 82, Highway 82 east to Highway 371, then Highway 371 south back to Highway 344.
