Arkansas State Police Corporal Steve Roberts, 51, of St. Francis County, has been promoted to the rank of sergeant. The promotion was approved by the Arkansas State Police Commission, meeting in Little Rock today.
Sergeant Roberts is an 11 year veteran of the department and has been assigned to the Highway Patrol Division, Troop D, headquartered at Forrest City. He will remain in Troop D and assume new duties as post supervisor.
