POPE COUNTY (6-18) – Bridge preservation work on the Whig Creek Bridge means single overnight lane closures on Highway 7, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.

Weather permitting; crews will close one lane of Highway 7 between Okie Doke Rd. and the Arkansas River Bridge in Russellville beginning Monday night, June 21 from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. The closure will occur each night until the bridge preservation work is complete. One northbound lane and one southbound lane will be closed will alternate as the work progresses.
