PRAIRIE COUNTY (12-6) – Construction on Interstate 40 between Hazen and Biscoe will cause a single alternating lane closure on the I-40 bridge over the White River.
Weather permitting, the contractor will conduct a single alternating lane closure on eastbound I-40 over the White River this Thursday, Dec. 9, from 8 p.m. – 6 a.m., and Friday, Dec. 10, from 8 p.m. – 10 a.m.
This closure will allow the contractor to continue paving operations and switch eastbound traffic to the south half of the new bridge.
Orange barrels, cones, message boards, and signage will control traffic. Additional travel information can be found at IDriveArkansas.com or ARDOT.gov. You can also follow us on Twitter @IDriveArkansas for traffic and @myARDOT for everything else.
