Governor Asa Hutchinson, in conjunction with Elizabeth Smith, Secretary of the Department of Inspector General, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ateca Foreman as the new Executive Director of the Arkansas Fair Housing Commission. Foreman, the Governor’s former Deputy Chief of Staff of Internal Operations, has previously worked in public housing in Tennessee and Arkansas and brings experience and leadership with her to the position.

“I have known Ateca for nearly a decade. She has worked for me since the 2014 campaign. For the past six years, she has managed the operations in the Governor’s Office, including the supervision of casework in the Public Engagement Department. But housing is her love, and I am pleased to appoint her to this position. Her passion will fuel her work to provide housing in Arkansas that is fair and equitable.”
