GREENE COUNTY (5-18) – Inspection and maintenance work for the Highway 141 Bridge over Lick Creek in the unincorporated town of Beech Grove will mean closure of the bridge, according to Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) officials.
A routine inspection has revealed concerns for safety; therefore, crews have closed the Highway 141 Bridge over Lick Creek in Beech Grove. Reopening the bridge is dependent upon further analysis and cannot be estimated at this time. For local reference this is the bridge located next to the Beech Grove Post Office. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes.
Traffic will be controlled by traffic cones and signage. Drivers should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
