Arkansas State Police Special Agent Eric Lee, 38, of Washington County, has been promoted to the rank of sergeant.
Colonel Bill Bryant, state police director, presented the promotion recommendation to the Arkansas State Police Commission for consideration during a meeting in Little Rock today.
Special Agent Lee will remain assigned to the state police Criminal Investigation Division, Company D, headquartered at Lowell, but assume new duties as a CID company supervisor.
Sergeant Lee is a 16 year veteran of the department.
