Public Service Commission – Tax Division

The Tax Division of the Arkansas Public Service Commission is responsible for assessing public utilities and carriers for ad valorem property tax purposes. These assessments generate annual revenues for local governments and public schools in Arkansas. A partial amount of the revenue generated is utilized to fund the operations of the Division of Local Affairs and Audits of the Division of Legislative Audit; the Assessment Coordination Department; and the Tax Division of the Arkansas Public Service Commission.
