The Public Affairs Division is responsible for shaping the Commissioner of State Lands office public perception through social media, providing tours of the capitol office, scheduling events, and other tasks as needed. This division also oversees the historical department. This includes curating and displaying historic documents for capitol visitors as well as the preservation of these documents for future generations. Freedom of Information requests other miscellaneous projects are handled in this division as well.
