Arkansas Workforce Investment Board

The purpose of the Arkansas Workforce Development Board (AWDB) is to align workforce development programs in the State in a manner that supports a streamlined workforce development system in the State, removing barriers to better coordinate, align, and avoid duplication among the programs and activities carried out through the system, develop strategies for providing effective outreach to and improved access for individuals and employers to the workforce development system, and developing strategies for implementing high-quality workforce programs throughout the state One-Stop Centers.
