Office of Internal Audit

The mission of the Office of Internal Audit (OIA) is to earn and preserve the trust of Arkansans by promoting accountability, integrity, and efficiency in the operation of the executive branch of the Arkansas government. We aim to support executive agency management in discharging their governance, risk management, and internal control responsibilities through independent, objective assurance and consultation activities of executive branch functions. These activities provide executive agency management information that assists them in achieving their objectives surrounding efficiency and effectiveness of operations, internal and external reporting, compliance with laws and regulations, and safeguarding of state assets.
